anyone had any exp with warn free wheeling hubs? are they any good?

I had avm's (same thing) great for the first 20mins till the stupid springs twisted and they stopped working

though it was easy enough to replace the springs on the track, you jsut need a drill and pop rivet gun, the springs are easy to get from bunnings

I had them on bullant and didn't have any problems........

Warn and AVM are no longer the same hub.

I can see no reason to run anything other than Aisin hubs - they are by far the strongest hub available for a sierra. They are easy to service, and easy to find.

In all honesty though, sierras run the same hub size as a landcruiser. There's no reason why any hub should be the weak point on a sierra - the stub axle/cv/inner axle is weaker than the hub.
