Is there much needed to change a Nt sierra bullbar to fit a 1.6l vitara?

Yes. And the vitara is wider so it will look like shit.

If it was a vit bar you were trying to fit to a sierra, that would work with some minor mods, but the other way round would be a major PITA.

Bullbars are proving difficult for Vits - I've got a LWB and I can't even pinch one of a SWB.
Anyone know where I can find a steel winchy for a LWB? A used, dented one went for $700 on eBay the other day, and even that was in Qld. Only one I've seen for sale anywhere!

I'm currently working on a solution for this problem. But if you think you have it bad with the LWB, atleast you don't own a 2L ! There is sweet FA available for those....soon to be rectified

i was waiting for ages for an adapter cradle to bolt the ARB winch bar onto the SV420 vitara, ended up with this little sucker! so far it's the only one in australia!
Fatzook did you end up with an auto or manual?

Yeah. It may be my job to make these soon
Manual. 160,000km, black hardtop. Stock as the day it left the factory floor. It will be the SV420G parts gunea pig  And Tim has a 1.6 LWB, and a mate of mine has a 1.6 SWB, I have LWB and SWB sierras so parts should start flowing soon.
