Have 1.6 Vitara - using 15w-40 oil - pressure shows as 8psi at idle - that was measured using a professionals gauge set, and vehicle fully warmed up.

I have been advised the oil lights come on at about 2psi but I am a little bit sus of oil lights.

With a Speco oil pressure gauge it was showing Zero at idle ( the professional unit showed 8psi at the same time)- but at start up it was showing 60 settling down to about 20 on the road when warmed up.

What do you reckon.

those figs match up to what about what mine reads .. I have installed an after market digital OP gauge and at idle is between 6 and 10, stab the acc and up to 50,60 ... not sure about on the road as I have no seats or rego yet ....
