Have 1.6 Vitara - using 15w-40 oil - pressure shows as 8psi at idle - that was measured using a professionals gauge set, and vehicle fully warmed up. I have been advised the oil lights come on at about 2psi but I am a little bit sus of oil lights. With a Speco oil pressure gauge it was showing Zero at idle ( the professional unit showed 8psi at the same time)- but at start up it was showing 60 settling down to about 20 on the road when warmed up. What do you reckon. |

those figs match up to what about what mine reads .. I have installed an after market digital OP gauge and at idle is between 6 and 10, stab the acc and up to 50,60 ... not sure about on the road as I have no seats or rego yet .... |
