Just checking what everyone has done as the calmini instructions are poo! Is this the way the bushes go? I think this way.
It says you dont need the sleeve, which i assume is the crush tube but if you dont it doesnt centre the new calmini bush as it has a large centre hole. And if you use the sleeve its too long for the bush thickness, so maybe a bit cut off would be good. Thanks Chop |

So thats the way the bushes go? Depends, i have alot of work on at the moment. Passenger side front is done, and before i start to strip the drivers side and dfading light i decided to change the diff brackets. Fark me the bolts were corroded to the diff on that centre bracket. Chop |

This makes me hope I have put mine in the right way. And who knew you could take the whole thing out? I did it the bloody hard way and took the bolt out of the top instead of taking the whole unit out! |

Nope. It wasn't until I started on the rear end and actually had a read through the service manual that I found you could take it out that way. |

The idea of replacing the bush is to assist in the lowering of the diff - the supplied bush is smaller than the rubber OEM one and goes agaist the cross member, so you have it right .... But my instructions clearly state to cut the crush tube to fit ! - Your kit looks like the 3", mine was the 2" sa I had the replacement bush you show, but it went on the standard diff bracket. How are your rear shocks ? - I had to replace mine as they where too short (although Calmini refused to agreee) .. Ended up replaing with OME rears intended for a 40mm lift and they are now great.. I actually have some articulation!!! |

Haha Bucket, yes it comes out and rather easily too ozhum, my instructions say " you dont need the sleeve" ut their new bottom bush has a hole in it the size of the sleeve and if you dont put it in it is sloppy Chop |

All the holes on the diff drop brackets were far too large. Tried sleeving but then the holes didn't match up to the diff. |

Bucket, we're talking about the steel sleeve that came out of the standard pinion bracket. yeah the bolt holes on the calmini brackets are sloppy... |

Oh yeah, i know that. I just thought I'd throw the "holes too big" out there too :p I think I reused the sleeve in mine. |
