Post subject:  85 sierra vacuum secondary

where does the other end if that little black rubber pipe that goes onto the diaphragm go on the carby? i accidently pulled it right off when I was trying to check if the secondary is opening

Trying to check in the dark with my mobile... will confirm in the daylight.

Can't trace it comin out the motor side of the carb - but it's pretty much a bundle of lines in the general area.

Looking from over the driver's fender - seems to attach to something pretty much right behind the vacuum pot, about an inch or so further in on the carb. Could be completely wrong... like I said, i'll confirm in the daylight.

Here's an old pic I have to show the general direction it runs (maybe the same carb as an 85?):

thanks mate, i got it, the diaphragm is stuffed, the pipe goes to a little port just under the vacuum pot, its a real bitch to get to, appreciate the help though. 8)
