i have some nice little 15x6 mags on my sierra with standed street tyres and some 15x8 sunnys with 31 inch mudstars. what i would like to know is if anyone runs 31 s on a 6 inch rim? i would like to put the muddys on the mags and some 30x9 street tyres for dayly driving

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure a 6 inch rim is to small for a 31x10

Too narrow - the tyre tries to crown, sidewall bulge is excessive, bead sat angle all wrong. It also plays havoc with clearance- the heavy sidewall bulge will catch on stuff like the shock mounts etc.

I'm sure someone will pipe up and say they've been doing it for years and it's fine etcetcetc, but really, it's wrong.

The narrowest rim for a 10.5 is a 7.
