The zook all of a sudden doesn't idle. It dies when I stop. Sparks have been done no less than 1 month ago. Getting quite sick of it. What could it be? I just serviced it yesterday (Oil change and Filter). Cheers |

clean out the carby and check the fuel filter |

idle solenoid is blocked rite side of the carby 2 wires going in to it,take it out and clean it and blow air up the hole too. Make shore it clicks when u turn the key on |

Well I havnt touched anything, and this morning all of a sudden it works fine. Bloody unreliable car. Argggh Thanks for the tips also. I might just replace it with a Vitara carbie |

The idle jet in the standard carb is stupidly small and easily gets clogged. Clean the carb out and blow through the jets. Then fit a second fuel filter between the fule pump outlet and the carb inlet. Often the diaphram of an old pump starts to fall apart letting bits of rubber into the fuel lines. Layto.... |
