Hiya all,

I have a J20A GV and currently have a Supercharge Allrounder MRV50 in there. It's 3 yrs old and on it's last legs. Is 3 yrs a reasonable life out of a hybrid battery?

I'm thinking about going up in size to a N70. Whilst it looks like it may fit is there a possibility of long term damage due to the increased size/weight?

What are other good batteries to consider instead of the Allrounder. I'm not unhappy with it but they seem to get a lot of mixed reviews. How about an Exide Endurance/Extreme?

I wouldnt think so, for 2 years I had a 45kg AGM in the stock spot in my vit then an n70 exide, nothing has fallen off yet

get an extreme from Kmart, keep the docket, when the warranty is almost out take it back for a refund cause its had it (Sunday is a good time for this) and get a new one with a new reciept :)

Sly bastard.

Do you know roughly how much an Extreme N70 is worth?

Ha ha that reminds me of an awesome sorta scam I pulled when I was a young fella...

I was doing up a Datto 1200 ute, while on sickness benefit so money was super tight.
I went to Bunnings and bought an orbital sander which had a 30 day "No questions asked satisfaction guarantee".
Got it home, sanded back the ute over the next 2 weeks, then returned the sander.

The lady looked at it (well used) and asked me what was wrong - I pointed to the box saying "no questions asked" and said I was not satisfied with it.

Got my refund and left quickly.
