Yes I have decided to go to the dark side and have a webber DGAV Carby in front of me. Ive studied this for a little while now and been through a service manual for this carby, but my questions are.. Can I block the bottom vac port off and what does the other thing do? It is on the opposite side to where the accelerator pump is, with the float chamber in the middle?? Can I block that too? I already know where my vac advance is and my egr ports have been blocked already (or is an option). Could I route the charcoal canister to the bottom port?? Thanks in advance. PS, 94 Sierra for those who dont know... |

The diagram look's like a power valve, I have 3 of them in the shed, I'll go have a play with one tomorow arvo & see what it does.. |

You da man! If it was a power valve, it would obviously want to open or shut at some stage for mixture adjustment.... But there are really no vac ports I can use for it.. Unless I ran one straight up off the intake manifold. I'm also tempted to connect the charcoal cannister to the vac port under it, although there should be another port on the other side of the webber specifically for the cannister. - acording to the service manual. |
