I've had a few people ask me what ratios the diffs are from the Vitara that i'm wrecking. Problem is I have no idea what they are and I was hoping someone here could help me. The front diff is alloy, rear steel. Car is a 95 Vitara Estate, bog standard. Cheers, Jimmy Some pics if it helps:

Someone will probably correct me but I'm pretty sure they should be 5.12's. |

count the number of teeth on the big gear, divide by the number of teeth on the small gear, instant ratios |

just to clarify for those uneducated among us (me included), does 10/12 bolt mean the number of bolts holding the two pieces of the housing together? if not what does it mean? |
