Hi everyone I'm wondering if I need to install a surge tank into my drover as I fitted a 1.6 efi vit motor and am currently running a high flow fuel pump into fuel rail and then a pressure reg on the return to tank line so as the pressure in the rail always remains the same. Will I need to change this or is it fine the way it is?? Cheers |

why are you bypassing the original pressure reg in the fuel rail? and yes, there should allways be a surge tank, pot etc etc, whether it be in tank or external. |

I bypassed the original pressure reg because it wigged out when I installed it into the drover I'm guessing due to the over sized fuel pump I installed its off a M3 BMW a mate had it lying around. lol What sized surge tank would be best I was thinking like a 0.5ltr pot??? Does anyone have any pics they could throw up of their setups?? cheers |
