I think that the 1L is slightly smaller. will get pics of both for you tomorrow

1ltr is smaller and bolt holes dont line up to the 1.3

1.0 and 1.3 are the same size. They are made slightly differently and may have a different size cap.

Steve.

Interestingly, late model 660cc sierras (coily) have a larger radiator than 1.3. It's the same width but about 2.5" taller - the bottom sits lower. It bolts into 1.3 mounts.

1.3 rad is about 50mm taller then a 1 litre one. mounts are slightly different but hose positions are the same.

I am running a 1.3 rad in my 1 litre and I had to drill a couple of holes and cut away a bit of the bracket then it fitted up fine. the fan shrouds won't work either, I got the 1.3 shroud but it doesn't line up with the 1 litre fan, 1 litre shroud doesn't bolt up to 1.3 rad. I didn't bother and just left it out.

Interesting - pretty sure I've swapped freely between them on mine.

if you can get a hold of the brackets that bolt to the chassis then it'd definately make it a straight swap, but those bolts usually snap off before undoing.

thanks guys i just went and got some steel bond putty stuff it says useful on radiators and holds up 300 degrees temp, and can be drilled and threaded so sounded decent. im going to cover up the hole with this stuff and see how i go as the hole is a the size of a needle head.
