Does anyone know where the fuses, relays etc are for the Air cond in an 88 Vitara ?? - I thought my Air Conditioning amp (black box under the glove box) was stuffed, but even after replacing it the ir cond is not firing up! - No power to the comp, (if I manually put power to it, it clicks and the the clutch engages).. I think there is a Relay for it all somewhere, but my wiring diagram doesn't show me which one it is ??? Cheers |

Not sure if it applies to Vitara, but when some air conditioners have no gas in them, the compressor won't switch on, so I guess check that first. On my Sierra I recently followed the wiring from the compressor to up under the dash to find an inline fuse in there. Replaced that and everything is good again. Too bad I waited until Summer had ended to diagnose it :s |

Bridge the TX valve at the drier and see if pump engages... If it does you are low on gas. |

Yes I know, but it's just one of those things I need to organise .. and want to make sure everything is going to be ok before I get it done ... apparently I'm up for about $400 ? - to convert to new gas... |
