1.3 in a swift is a 6, 1.6 is a 6
just fit em, youll never know the difference, shit my sierra had every combination of BP, BK, BC, BPR, BKR, BCP, in 5 6 and 7 and youd never know the difference

today i went to autobarn and got some spark plugs for my suzuki sierra, but i forgot to take a sample so they had to look it up only problem was that i told them that i might have a 1.6 vatara head on my 1.3 block, im not sure as the seller said it hat a 1.6 head, so i consumed it was, so when i came home with the spark plugs which are BP5ES. i checked with the original ones and they were BP6ES, so im just wondering will they fit and wat spark plugs fit in a 1.6 head and wat will fit in a 1.3 head, as i dont have a clue wat head it is much appreciated |

yeah they are hotter. i dont see it being a major problem. the plugs will probably just wear out a bit faster. you can change them if you want but if it was me i would just use them. but i am lazy. |

just be aware that they are a hotter plug, dont do any extended high speed driving, if it was me i would run em, would only be a worry if it was a bp4es etc but one heat range is usually ok |

If your timing has been advanced for higher octane fuel, you may find you experience predetonation due to the spark plugs getting too hot. Which is why many people swap to the BP6ES. If you look at your old plugs, and they are fouled up internally, your plugs are running too cold and the BP5ES would be better suited. Also consider tuning the carby if they are heavily fouled. freshly rebuilt engines will have a higher compression and on todays fuel pinging is quite likely to occur. if this happends you should adjust your timing and run a cooler plug. Pinging can happen even without you knowing if things are not right inside your engine. Todays fuel is crap compared to what it was when the suzuki was built. My newly rebuilt motor has the same compression as it says in the FSMbut it pings on everything but the highest octane fuel and only with the timing set back at 4deg. I run the BP6ES plugs. made a huge difference in my motor . B4T |

I run the BP6ES plugs. made a huge difference in my motor . B4T i have a vitara head so thats more compression ny way then the sierra head, i need to get my timing looked at as i have pre ignition and my car runs like shit |
