i get the same as you in my jimny since i have put my snorkle on. i'm thinking the air flow metre is telling the computer that there is heaps of air going through and telling the injectors to add fuck loads of fuel. or something along those lines. before the snorkle i was getting 8.7l/100kms. i have 235/75's. im guessing mine needs a tune up. any suggestions?

WAAAAY worse!!!! I drove to Sydney and back (from Bris) a few weeks ago and I got around 400km to a tank... considering I get at least 550km bumbling around town I almost had a heart attack.
I think the problem lies in my mechanised secondary on the Aisin carb... efficiency at WOT just isn't there. Will sort it out one day, don't get on the highway much so not a major concern.
