hey guys need a bit of help just put a weber 32 36 carby on my sierra, started her up at there is a very loud whyyyyyyyyning noise i can find where its coming from .... please help

is it like something is sucking in air (apart from the obvious places)? or more mechanical? |

i also had this problem, when i rebuilt my motor is it a high pitched squeel. anyway i fixed the problem by putting small bit of silicone on all of the gaskets on the intake and adapter, and that fixed it. |

spray something flamable around the carby. when the idle picks up you have found where it is leaking from |

You didn't accidently bolt a supercharger under the carbie? |
