hey guys for some reason my diff has started making a like a clinking noise when you back off the accelerator and then when you accelerate it will make the noise. i thought it may be a uni that's gone so just climbing under to have a quick look and it seems the diff to be leaking oil out of where the flange is on the front of the diff what could my problem be? any help would be great and i hope my diff aint on its way out or my center is rooted as i want to use the centers when i do wt.

Either the pinion bearing or the crush tube has collapsed.
Either way if you continue driving it you WILL destroy the centre in quick time.

hrmm great have you got the stuff to fix it jas and if so how much? and how hard is it to fix myself or should i buy you beer and come visit

I have another rear centre here if you just want to swap it or we can strip yours and replace whichever bits need replacing... Repair will probably be dearer than replace but at least you will know you have new bearings etc.

ok well id love to rebuild it but atm i have 700$ worth of bills to pay in the next couple of weeks, and my 2nd job isnt giving me hours so im on 312$ a week. so ill prob have to swap for now and then rebuild it when i do my wt eventually did you want anything for the swap?
