length of drop shackles open-minus length of shackles you are taking off/2 bugger all really, only benefit is maybe more sideways movement (good for flex, bad for stability) |

the way i see it... and i just got a pair from steve, and i'll see once I've installed them, but the whole idea of them is more downward travel.. therefore keeping the wheel's on the ground... more drive..! |

yeh i know, but i wasn't sure if they usually fully open or not to give max flex. i need to see if my shocks are going to be long enough first |

just chuck em on, break your shocks and get new ones later. i think they could be good if you can play around with springs and shocks to get them to work properly. all the zoh dudes have them front and rear and they seem to work well. They have all done some kind of custom spring pack also. |

well, that sounds reckless doesnt it, heh, i never broke my shocks. I think a good design track bar would help also, so you don't get too much diff twist/spring wrap. |

iam allready getting pretty big spring twist i thought the drops would help, my back shocks are tarago one or something which have more travel then the bombodore ones i thing. u think they will not be too short. can i more the rear brake bracket to get the liine closer to diff so i dont have to but another extended line? |

i don't think the shackles will help with spring wrap. if anything , they will let the diff flex more because it's allowed to move more freely. if you stick the drop shackles on and take the shocks off at the bottom, and flex it up, then see if the shocks will reach still. |

I just twisted the bracket on the chassis end so it pointed at the diff more and that took a lot of strain off it |

so i wanna reverse then so they are bent foward? or are they upside down as well? I think iam meant to have them facing foward, but i have tags welded on in front of puchases to stop shackles friping around. and on the drivers sided it would take out the fuel filler What do i do here? cut off tags and? |

The sticker would give it away, Mick would put the sticker up the other way if they were meant to be that way. |
