Looking to fit new springs and shocks vor my Vitara, I'm interested if anybody has imported shocks from the US.

I'm thinking about buying 4 Bilsteins from here http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index.cfm ... _year=1995, with a set of 4 costing $458 ex shipping. I've asked them to provide shipping costs, not sure what it will be but a few people have had good things to say about them on other forums.

Anyone care to comment?

Finally got a reply out of these guys. I think my gmail email address was being blocked on their end.

Anyway, they can supply the shocks for $860, including fitting. I'd also need springs, but would source them locally.

The other option I'm thnking about is one of the Ironman kits, such as this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/IRONMAN-35mm-SUS ... 2a08f098d4

A bit cheaper, and for what I'll be doing in the vehicle, probably sufficient.

Decision, decisions...

There is no comparison between ironman and bilstein in terms of shockers, the bilstein are far superior, they are also a different construction being mono shocks. I run bilstein in my Disco and think they are great, a little firm, but great quality. I got mine at a great price from suspension stuff in Brisbane, but a lot of LR owners get them from the US.
Cheers Matt
