Can anyone tell me how to get the green CV housing off the driver side of the GV diff? I have tapped the shaft out of the other side, but still can't get the housing apart. put the bolts back on your centre. Its likely the axle is binding in the centre. |

okay thanks guys I will try that ... tomorrow, I was playing with a big screwdriver as you said but I have been VERY gentle because I wasn't too sure what I was doing

I've been trying with a big flat screwdriver and have only got it to move about 6-8mm ?

6 to 8mm is just the spline, you will need to put a lil more force behind it, i've had to flog pry bar's with hammer's to get em out.. & as Mr Fat said, the center loose like that will put pressure on the shaft. not allowing it to come out.. |

Yep the bolts are back in, just didn't know how hard I should go with it, will have another go with a bit ore oomph ....
