Dad just called and said there's a stock 1995 LWB Vit 2.0L, 288000km, blows a bit of smoke for $1500 nearby... very minimal rust, and it's blue... 
It worth getting? Thinking about travelling around AUS next year. Plans were to get my seirra on the road and drive it down to the family farm in VIC, work there and in TAS etc. The old man reckons he could talk him down to $1000... Let me know. And I don't have any pics, sorry. Cheers, Ryan. |

Only if you have $4-5K to get it sorted for your trip. Getting the car cheap is only half the battle. It sounds like it needs another motor. |

Yeah I was thinking the same thing Fatzook... It is tempting to have a sierra for a weekender and a vit for a tourer/camper though... and that i'm only 17 I'd be set for life with cars.  I don't have much money at the moment either....

what you do is get the car......then you disconect the possitive crank case breather from the rear of the rocker cover (and plug it) and tap a fitting into the oil fill plug. this will be the new breather point. and guess what?......she will no longer be smokey

the 2L wagon is a nice ride witha good looking dash and a little bit of grunt, a lift and all terrains plus a roof rack and it would be a great tourer
