Hi all

Whats the smallest tyre I can put on a 15x10in rim. I got my hands on some eagle alloy classic look to go on my sierra. I have a good set of 31x10.5 road tyres and 33x12.5 muddies. I would like to put the 31s as I get full steering and they would look better.

Why the dia sizing, a 12.5" wide is after all, 12.5" an a lot of 33s come in that size.

This is what for my toy when she gets built.

Yeah but a 35x12.5 has a lot more sidewall to bulge out on a 10 inch rim where as a 33x12.5 doesn't

True (ish), but claws say min 9" rims for 12.5s, regardless of sidewall hight.

Remember, a 33" has 9" of sidewall, a 35 has 10", thats only an inch diff, not a lot in the great scheme of things in regard bulge ability.

I've got 32x11.5's on my 10's. They fit, but the sidewalls are fairly straight. Not an issue though.

A 12.5 would be ideal.
