i have no idea how or where to even start looking for the reason my tacho isn't working is there anyone with a n/t swb that could help with my little dilemma |

Check that the wire has not come off the coil. I am sure it gets it power from there? |

Ignition coil mate.... Bolted to the firewall right behind the motor |

Sadly, if you do not know what the coil is, take it to an auto electrician. This will be a far easier solution. Bruce, the pic shows a coil that needs an external resistor, not for a suzi, 1.3l onwards. |

i new that coil i just wasn't aware that the tacho was supposed to be attached to it |

The tacho knows the revs by how many times the coil pulses. Get a manual with a decent wiring diagram and it'll help you out with all these niggly little electrical issues... |
