Hi all I got my hands on a sierra brake master "thanks steknig" and changed that but I still cannot get good brake feel. I bleed the crap out of the lines, new rear cylinders and changed the front to vitara calipers and rotors. I have to double pump the brake pedel to get it to really grab. I have not changed the brake booster yet "anyone got one". What else can it be? cheers |

Vitara calipers? did you spin them before you bled them? the bleed nipple needs to sit at the top, it doesnt do this bolted to a sierra |

Yea I adjusted the rear, the nipples on each caliper sit straight. Does the master cylinder and the brake booster need to sealed together with gasket glue. I just bolted them together with a paper gasket. |

try bleeding the master cylinder by cracking the fittings on it and let some fluid out. |

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder? The booster won't have any effect on having to double pump the pedal. It's only there to lower pedal effort. Steve. |
