Hi All, I'm after personal recommendations for a good set of tyres, either an aggressive AT or Mud in a 215/75 r15 for the Jimny Currently considering Kumho KL71 and BFG KM2 but am open to suggestions based on your personal recommendations and experiences. Any positives or negatives will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Squizz |

my uncle runs 215/75r15 KM2's on his jimny (no lift) and LOVES them - im well impressed with how far he can drive now on these tyres compared to his previous AT pattern. PICS: http://www.auszookers.com/index.php?nam ... ic&t=13968 Kumho 834 is more of a muddy than the other one:

Had the BFG A/T and now have KM2s in that size. I highly recommend the KM2s. They are expensive though. |

they look heaps different in real life alien.. it is miss leading in the pick ... it looks like a low profile tyre. but they re quite a meaty tyre.. have seen them in action and they do an awesome job.. |

![]() spose in real life they look different again... lol I'd say they work marginally better in mud than the KM2's from what I have seen. But the KM2's would appear to be better in rock due to the smaller tread blocks. The KL71 is fantastic on road, wet or dry thanks to the directional tread pattern. They are too aggressive for sand, but still work well if you have a little spare power to drive them. $ for $ I'd still buy the KL71 over the KM2 i reckon. |

I got my Hankook RT03 for $140 a piece but that was a couple of years ago though.... would think they would be close to $200 each now Got them through the Big Tyre Group at Lawnton on the Nth-side |

My old man and I both run Terra Trac AW. mine are in the 215/75R15 size, but unfortunately i've only really been able to look at mine while i've been slowly getting it to roady and rego standard... |

i can vouch for kumhos on rock and terrain like glasshouse in qld. alot of grip even at road pressure, felt like i had lockers. quiet on the road, and from other mates cars seem to stand the test of time... |
