hi all,

sure tis been coverd 1000 times before but i got myself a pair of autotechnia bucket seats for my hj45 but i decided i want them in the zook and ill keep the hj45 original... so few questions

do they fit in their easy? or should i say will they fit?

seat rails? should i find some second hand factory ones and mod them or are they pretty easy/close to fit in with the universal rails it came with?

they do fit and are quite easy to fit....

use factory rails and redrill the wholes... only have to drill one hole per rail.. so 4 all up... easy as


took me all of an hour to fit them up into mine.

I have a set of Autotechnicas - maybe not the same model but mine fit and they are pretty wide - were fitted to patrol rails. They are a bit wide and rest against the pillar but they still fit.

I have a coily and modified the standard seat rails.

If you are using a universal rail kit don't use the ones that have the 'slider lock thingy' locking on only 1 side - they tend to put a twist in the seat.
