Hey I am unsure if this is in the right section but I'm new to here Nd 4 wheel driving I recently purchased a sj 40 off of this forum as a project.. I can't find a whole lot of info about them to do with motor gear box transfer case and diff if anyone could point us in the direction of some info and or some good mods to start with i would appreciate it.. thanks Matt |

Welcome mate. There are a few things you need to do first. PICS!!!! just ask a direct question andyou will get dozens of answers. Need more power? ask away. Need better suspension? Ask about it. We are mostly helpful around here Peter |

as i have not picked her up yet i do not have any pictures. i am waiting to arrange time off work to go get her. one thing i cant find any info on.. sorry for being a newbie at this but did the sj40 stockman come out with a dual ratio transfer box or just a single ratio one so would i have 2wd (H) - 4wd (H) and 4wd (L) or was it back in primative times where they would only have 2 wheel and 4 wheel selectable? thanks and sorry for my stupidness in advance :p |
