Okay, trying to get my tow ball off. Here's what I've tried; Spanner. WD40 Socket + 2' breaker bar WD40 Socket _ 2' breaker bar _ 6' pole extention WD40 Hammer WD40 Socket _ 2' breaker bar _ 6' pole extention WD40 Sledge Hammer WD40 Socket _ 2' breaker bar _ 6' pole extention I've also tried some unseize shit that I had in dad's shed, no luck. What else can I try short of cutting it out with the oxy? Coz that's what i'm headed for next. |

wd40 is as good as useless for rusted on bolts. use either a proper penetrene spray or wurth rost off ice. dont try cut it off yet, just heat up the nut to start with and then hit it with some icey cold water. the expansion/contraction might get you somewhere |

9 inch is over kill 4 inch with a 1mm cuttting disc... chop off the the thread outsie the nut first.. LIke said above cut the nut side 2 to 3mm before the tongue then get a hammer and cold chisel and punch it out |

After trying with a 6' pole, first thing id do is have a squiz and make sure it hasn't been tack welded to the tongue. |

Heat the nut up red hot then quench it . this will change the molecular state of the metal. Next heat it up white hot and try undo with your bar and pipe if that dot work cut it off |

![]() I have never had any luck with that crap. The best stuff you will ever get for rusted parts is called "mouse milk" http://www.mousemilk.com/ The only problem is it has a very short shelf life once opened and I can't seem to find a supplier in Australia. It is classed as a dangerous good so shipping from the US is a pain in the ass. |

Okay! Oxy, heated it up till it was nice and bright, gave it a few solid hits with a hammer and then put the rattle gun on it for a solid 30 seconds and it came loose! Thanks guys |
