Hey Guys Currently doing a G13b conversion into my sierra and now I need an exhaust. Does anybody know if the G16b headers will fit? Thanks |

think ive been told exhust ports are different g13 is ovel/sqaure and g16 i think i was told is round. could be wrong. |

u will need custom extractors.. ok thats a lie.. u need a set of sierra extractors with a gti flange.. i have also been told its the sameflage pattern but upside down.. not 100% on that tho. |

So G13b ports are round, G13a/ab are oval, so would I be better off modifying vitara G16 extractors or sierra extractors? |

sierra extractors (cut this off) 
extractors with gti flange plate welded on 
painted and bolted on engine You need sierra extractors to clear the engine mount. The sierra ones are a bit of an oval shape but I flared them with an exhaust flaring tool but you probably wouldnt need to. |

These are the first 4-1 on a suzi that I have seen, normally 4-2-1, have you tried the 4-2-1 and if so, how do they compare to the 4-1. |

Ive been told the 4-1 are better at high revs and the 4-2-1 are better at lower revs. Havent tried the 4-2-1s but these work great though! |

I like the VL engine mounts 
what pully is that you have on the bottom main of the engine? Twin multi V is what i need for my conversion zookfun wrote: painted and bolted on engine |

no worries with the pricing, I should have mentioned before, mine is a MK1 engine and the shape is different from a Mk2/3 one. I will bring in the gasket and scan it tomorrow and then do the cad in the next few days. If yours is a Mk2 or 3 it will be useless to you though. I might take you up on the offer of taking a look at your conversion. But not for a few weeks (after other zuk projects). Thanks. |

just on the flange- I got mine brand new from a place in qld, it was either $35 or $70 and it came with a gasket. (mk2 and 3- cant see why mk1 would cost any more. |

It was just the pulley on the mk2 gti engine but it did have air con so it might have been from that |

My Gti is a mk2 and I have a mk3 in the shed and they're both twin multi (4pk) rib harmonic pulleys (good for a power steering conversion  .
I've had a few exhaust flanges laser cut, for my zook, for the various turbo manifolds I've made. I found some exhaust shops that make custom extractors (not off the shelf jobbies) will usually have them, around the $50-$70 mark. I however needed input and dump flanges etc too, so I just got my bro to do cad's up and emailed them off, cost me bout $70 for 8 flanges (my bro got some for his project too). I reckon I've got the dxf files on my computer, if not my bro can email them, they were made to the same specs as the gasket. |

PM me your email address and I'll forward it to you. Just a word of warning, some laser cutting places have a min charge, so depending who you go to, prices may vary a lot. I got mine out of 10mm mild, I wouldnt go any thinner because if you warp it when you weld it you will want some fat to mill off. Best way would be to pre and post heat when welding, or have a spare donk like me and weld it on the engine

.Mine is a Mk1 Gti and has a multi v inner and single v outer pully, further research on RedlineGti has indicated that pully was changed on the mk2/3 to the twin multi setup. At least i know what im looking for know. |

I finally got my exhaust made up, details for those who are looking to do this conversion the headers were these: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SUZUKI-SIERRA-DR ... 500wt_1154 and the flange was made up by http://www.onlinelaser.com.au/ from sleeperzook's CAD file - thanks mate. Cost me about $80 but I wouldn't recommend those header as they fouled on the engine mount and needed a bit of hammer work to make them fit. |

I'd be trying to get the sensor in a position that it gets the mix from all cylinders. Gives you the best average of the fuel/air ratio that the engine is running. All the ones I've seen have been right before the cat. Do you know if the o2 sensors are heated (3 wire i think) on the GTI engines or is it the exhaust gas that gets them up to temp (2 wire I think) |

ahh I should have tried MPH, that's much easier than getting them made bit by bit. Any feed back on the O2 cell location from guys that have done the conversions? Its a single wire cell. I have done some googling and some people seem to have trouble with the single wire cell not getting hot enough, when they are further away from the engine. |

you want the o2 sensor, drill a large hole in the extractors and get your exhaust shop to weld the nut on so you can put the sensor in. my o2 sensor is just where the 4 pipes become 1.. |
