why do you want to remove the locker to put a lsd in?

coz the locker is too clunky?

how old is the locker? maybe the srings and pins need replacing?

If you don't need a locker, how about just using a standard open diff?

its really clunky and only couple of months old, if l take rear locker out but leave front in l will break shit.

i'm in no way trying to be a smartarse here (which is unusual heh)

i think if you break stuff with a open rear diff, you'll break the same stuff with a rear lsd.

i had a front locker only, for years and never broke stuff. and i had 31MTs. I've broken more stuff like CVs and front diffs when i had a rear and front lockers.

I wouldn't worry about breaking stuff. It's not going to suddenly fall apart without a rear locker.

got any pics of the car in action so we can see what kind of terrain you do? you might not even need lockers at all. Sierras are pretty capable without lockers, and you only need them if you're doing some serious tracks.

What Steve is trying to say Grant, is , When you do off roading your gonna break shit anyway.

Regardless of if your Zuk is modded or Stock..

It is the Mods that are done that can either make or Break your ride.
If you spend more time on the Black top, then a rear locker is going to ruin its on road performance compared to an stock diff.
If your doing the Stockton sand hills, then may be a locker is going to assist in getting you up the dunes..

Get us a vid of the "clunkyness"...

Get us as much Pics and vids as you can.....

you dont have to break stuff when you go offroad, my sierra was pretty modded and I never had any problems, I just didnt abuse it and kept a good eye on everything

I understand where your coming from with the locker, I would get the shits with one real quick, sell it and use the money to pay for the compressor for your new airlocker :)

Yes I aggree with Royce. (now there's a first :-) )
I have had a front air locker in the GV for over 2 years and never have done a cv or any other thing. I've done some rather hard tracks. Just got to take it easy and don't abuse it.
