what engine is in your Jimny? (G13 or M13) What tyre size do you run and what have you done to correct gearing for that tyre size? Be aware that adding significant power to a jimny will have a poor $ per HP ratio.( i.e it's going to get expensive) There's no magic bullet. That's why I mentioned gearing - it's much cheaper to gear the car to correct for tyre size/use than it is to try and add power. Steve. |

we just put a g16b in our jimny, cost was around 2g. but we did every thing our selve. it uses all the g13b intake and exaust manifald plus a few other things, but is a quiet simple conversion |

You don't have a G13A - you have a G13BB. Putting a G16B in would be the best option. You'll add about 10 to 15% more HP and 15-20% more torque. Fitting an M series motor would be a huge hassle. the M series engines are quite different in architecture and electronics - you'd need the whole engine loom from an M engined car along with lots of little other things you won't get if you get an M18 from a baleno (or whatever M18's were in) G 16 for a G engined Jimny. M15/M18 for an M13 engined Jimny. Steve. |
