Does anyone know what the biggest motor that can go into a Suzuki Sierra that is legal

4 cyl???
V6 ???
V8 ???

As the motor in mine has got a nice rattle and sounds like a its only running on 2cyl
Any info would be great

You can have 20 cylinders if you can find them small enough, there is no standards regarding the configuration of the engine it is all capacity based. Suzuki Sierra is allowed around a 3.2L engine, read here for exact: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=36988&hilit=capacity

EDIT: Forgot what I actually wrote in that thread, it doesn't apply to four wheel drives so you are allowed whatever anyway will compliance. You will have to talk to someone that is able to blueplate the car and see how far they will let you go.

Don't even bother asking Transport or "an approved person" about any motor larger than 2000cc.

The biggest you can put in a sierra is 2.7

and yes people will plate them as my engineer said he would.
you need to do brake upgrades and suspensions to do it though
