Yeah but Since I am going off road regularly and the diffs are going underwater alot... I thought a regular Oil change on the diff would have been the smart thing to do..

have a look at the top of the diff, you will see a hose that goes up above the fuel tank, that is the breather hose, it stops any water being sucked in to the diff, especially seeing you have new genuine seals either side on the axles

you have nothing to worry about, I would only be worried if you have the entire diff submerged for long periods

at best take the filler plug out of the back of the diff and stick your finger in, if its milky replace it, if its clear keep on plugging

Where does that breather pipe go to ?? I followed it but lost it above the fuel tank?

Checked the filler Plug.. still clear..

if its anything like a GV it goes up into the cabin next to the fuel filler

OUCH Just bought 4 litres of Castrol Transmission FLuid GL5/ 80/90

Cost $42.98
With NRMA Card Holder Discount $39.40

Then I found out that when my mechanic did the Car, he changed the Oils

I will need a new Diff plug as the old one is looking a tad naffed..

Oh well at least I have the oil to do it in the future lol...
