I have two rear diffs one open one is meant to have a mechanical locker. Is there anyway of telling if it is locked or not as both diff centres look the same |

depends on what type of locker being used...best bet is to post some photos... |

slot a axle in a side, hold the axle and turn the pinion. the diff that is locked will turn the axle in your hand |

get a photo looking into the centre, where the axles slot in. |

the diff that is locked will turn the axle in your hand X2 and you may want to try diff breathers and a few more oil changes that diff looks shit |

It's been sitting under a house. I bought it like that mainly bought it for the housing at the time but now want the locker aswell. Should clean up ok I hope. Looks the same as the open one just a bar with two short bars on each side |
