How much performance am i really getting out of my tired motor? No1 192 No2 191 No3 173 No4 134 Rings are gone in 3 & 4. So effectively i reckon im only getting about 75% of the motors massive 49kw power. lol. 75% of 49kw = not much |

yep done dry then wet test. Thats how i know rings are stuffed. Tested higher wet |

I think minimum comp should be around 170, so No4 is dead and No3 is just about dead. What causes rings to wear unevenly? |

Its not just rings that can cause a lack of comp.... What about burnt, bent, worn valves? |

my old revvy motor had even 160ish compresion and went hard. new one is up around 190 and is slow. but that could be alot of things B4T |

Yeah I thought comp #'s above 170 were reasonable. And above 190 was good. |
