| Post subject: | Caster and camber |
My fathers vitara has just had a set of Bruces spring inserts (15 front and 30mm rears) put in, and a set of new tyres, 235/75s, the wheel aligner tells him that the caster is out, err? also the camber. I can understand the camber, but the caster, it came up level, neither higher at the front or rear. I thought they could alter camber, but dad was told no, only toe in. So, what do ya do, I have heard of caster kits, shims, but how on earth do you know how many degrees, or is it suck n see, and camber?? |

I rang the tyre mob, know him pretty well. The camber is ok, its the caster thats out, an only a small bit, Rob recons its not worth money to fix the small prob, a tiny bit out, few hundred to fix. Its all good, thanks all. |
