So judging by the wear on the my old stock tyres, the camber was out on my stockman when I first bought it, now the new rubbers on (31's) its more noticeable to the eye as there obviously bigger. To look at it from the front its like this \ / Which is positive cmaber if I'm correct Now the suspensions in I'll be giving it a couple of weeks to settle then take it for a wheel alignment, but what I wanna know is, is this something they can address when there doing the alignment, or is there more involved? |

well i'm not going to type no front camber isnt adjustable and there is no kit to allow this your only choice is to either find a friendly truck alignment shop that will take on bending the front axle into shape or youll have to replace the front housing with a straight one cause its unlikely youll do this and frankly there is no point worrying about it till an alignment tells you your camber really is shot cause you have to be a special kind of ham fisted to bend a diff in that direction |

Yes it is possible and there are a few ways of achieving camber adjustment.. Either wedge shaped shims between the swivel housing and stub axle. Or eccentric rings around the "king pin" bearings. There might even be "king pin" bearing caps with an off-set built into them. There are many places that specialize in wheel alignments on solid axle front ends. |

all those are great if you own a Landcruiser, yet to see them made for a sierra though (happy to be proven wrong or perhaps Fatzook or BenT would like to make them) |

The king pin bearing in a sierra is small enough as it is, let alone making it smaller again just to "adjust" things.. |

if ya read my first post, i asked 2 questions, by just saying "nope" I dont know which one your referring to. But thanks for ya answer anyway. I only asked coz I remember reading once of shim kits that were available to fix camber probs or something along those lines. I just dont understand what causes uneven tyre wear like that, I'll wait till I have the alignment done then I guess |

toe can do it as well, which is adjustable have you jacked it up and given the wheels a wobble to see if there is any play? |

on the old stockers the outside were down to about 3mm and the inside edge still had about 10mm....not good ay |

if they were both even it could be toe that much camber difference would drive like shit and follow every line on the road |

yeah they were pretty even, like you said ya would have to be a complete fukwit to bend the diff the otherway, surely. it does seem to drive straight and true on the road. I'll book in a wheel alighnment like ya said and go from there I spose |
