Good question.... I am interested to know so aswell.... I can't remember if they mount the same. I can tell you for sure that the plugs are different. |

if it's a working alt that internally regulated & you can make it fit & be aligned with the bottom pulley, yes, yes you can.. |

in this case they dont bolt up, youll need to make brackets |

i used a bosch one of an eb falcon bolts straight up. it's only a 70 amp. I prefer an external regulator. i had an el 110 amp on it but it didn't like water and the brushes shorted out. if i could have pulled it out and dry'd it, would have been fine. The capacitor on the back had to get moved to clear my engine mount no big deal, just needed to be re-earthed (when i said external, i meant it's still in the alternator just at the back where you can remove it with 2 screws very easy to replace regulator and brushes in minutes) |

you do need a different plug though, its the bosch injector type plug. |

so it sounds like it will work, its so much easier and cheaper gettin a bosch 1, but keep the info cummin i havent bought the alt yet |
