not really know the sierra's but have a look around the battery area for the main fuse box & there is a fuseable link that runs off the battery that can cause issues.

hey man,

i looked everywhere around the battery. Nothing i could see or find..also sorry probably a stupid question.. but what does the fusable link look like :oops:

i attached a photo of my car near the battery for reference.

The negative terminal is not connected to the battery :oops:

haha i know the neg terminal isnt connected i removed it over night just incase there is some short in the car and battery dosnt die while i sleep haha

See the green wire near the + terminal? It is a fuse-able link wire. If that is faulty it stop all electrics. Mine burnt out so I replaced it with a 30 amp water proof blade fuse. Pssst the brake fluid is way low too.

I can be of no assistance, as mine has a fuse box right where your relay is (different year)
but sounds like greater knowledge than mine is helping you

I would have thought you'd want a bit more than 30 amps in there...

OMGGGGG you guys are LEGENDS!!! i cut that wire and bridged a new wire for just to see if it would work and sure enough it started!!!!! yayyy!

thank you soooo much!!

now i need new belts as the one on there when i left it running for about 30 secs it started smoking and the belt was burning hot!!

you ned a new alternator, smoking belt and blown fusible link are sure signs of it

make sure you get a new fusible link from an auto lecky too, without that your current fault would cause the car to catch fire!!

hey man,

oh really a dead alternator could do that? i will remove the belt itself tomorrow and see if the alternator is seized or not spinning freely.
