my mate had a similar problem on his pootrol. when he braked it will pull left. the mechanic told him its just the camber in the road fuck there are some real douches out there turned out it was a seized king pin |

I had the same problem on my sierra but it would come and go. Turned out to be one of my guides on the L.H front caliper was gummed up. Every so often it would bind and the caliper would skew and snatch the rotor. When I pulled it apart the brake pads on that side looked a bit like door wedges, they were literally on the metal one end and meaty the other. Maybe yours has started to do this? |

Better fix it if this starts to happen. I had this happen when the caliper slides were stuffed from mud getting in the seals. I fixed it after the caliper threw the pad out onto the road while I was driving. There was a loud noise, then the brake pedel went to the floor and then I had no brakes!!! |

The Hilux calipers don't have slide pins |

I would be checking to make sure that none of your pistons are seized, it won't be slides like others have mentioned above as the hilux run a 4 piston calliper setup, then i would be checking king pin bearings. weaves |

They are the bearings in the knuckles that allow the hubs to swivel so the wheels can steer. You will see 4 bolts on a small plate top and bottom of the knuckles, these are your bearings. |
