Hi everyone,
Just want to know alittle about what you all do for recovery,
Ive got a stock 08 jimny and yesterday i had to use it for recovering a Landcruiser (yes i actualy did it), but the only recovery point was on the front, then we found that our D shackle wouldnt fit through it.
Has anyone fitted other points to their car?
For anyone who wants to know how i got the Landcruiser out, it was pretty easy, just doubled up a 4 ton tow strap (only one we had that would fit through the recovery point hole) and then attached it to a Snatch, then pulled it out in reverse. Was VERY easy, :D

Heres what I did on the rear, 8mm angle steel, both sides of the chassis, crush tubed and plates on the inside of the lower chassis.

On the front I have mounted a recovery hook to the upper part of the factory one.
