As i've mentioned another non-tech thread, i've bought an el-cheapo 97 mitsubishi magna for $1200 while my suzi's off the road... just fixing a few of the significant faults in it... (cruise control/air con/boot keylock are also on the list)

one thing thats slightly worrying me, is the power steering feels like its 'pulsing' when i'm cornering - can slightly feel it at around 20-30kph, and the faster you go the more you notice it.

If that indicates something dangerous or if its an easy fix then i'll fix it, otherwise if its both safe to drive but expensive to fix, then i won't bother fixing it.

how is teh belt and fluid? probably both shot

as far as i can tell they're fine... fluid is fairly clear and orange in colour when on a white rag. Belt is a MD322330 and is quite hard to get to, but can't see any cracks in the teeth...

steer fluid is red, Burnt rooted fluid is orange/brown :)

Could be the control arm bush's to, the strut's in them shitter's don't last long either..
