G'day

when i removed g-box to change rear main seal i've noticed that gearbox input shaft has sideways (up and down) movement. is it something I should worry about or i can leave it like that?
if that is bearing, is it necessary to pull the whole g-box apart to change the bearing? (manual vitara gearbox)

i've also noticed a play on front output flange in t-case, should i replace the bearing or can i drive it taking into account that this is only front output shaft? (sierra t-case)

what can happen if i don't replace the bearings if they need to be replaced?

cheers
