hey everyone
i was driving my father in laws 2.0l v6 vitara. its auto and the square shape not sure on the year. As i was driving it on the highway after a while of driving it would seem to be under no load and coast then it would feel as if some one pulled the handbrake on a bit like its surging. my father in law think it feels like the overdrive is dropping in and out but the revs arnt changing and i think maybe its something to do with the converter but i dont know much about autos any help would be good thanks guys

 It sounds to me like the pump might be stalling, now and again, you can get a transmission flush from some of the normal service outlets not always cheap but shop around. This will show up any other problems or clean out the crap.
