hey guys, took the head off the zook to replace the headgasket and to find a crack in the block between 2nd and 3rd cylinder, have spoken to 2 mechanics both say where the crack is shudnt be much of a problem but 1 has told me to use GM sealer on both sides of the new head gasket as it is apparently top stuff then run chemiweld through the radiator, the other said dont use GM sealer because it will probably react to the glue already on the gasket. This will still only be a temp fix just to run me to a few job interviews over the nxt couple of months, then il replace the whole engine, just wanted to hear some thoughts from guys on here on what i should do. cheers in advance |

Just look around for a cheap bottom end. I wouldn't be too surprised if someone has one lying around that they are wanting to get rid of. |
