1.3 94 model sierra.
i believe to have hole in my exhaust. and running 30's. havent changed the gearing or anything. shes stock standard..
goin up hills i struggle to stay at 70/80
any tips on how to give her abit more power without changing the engine?
the exhaust is getting fixed this weekend. hoping thats the problem..
and i kno sierras are unpowered as it is. but it just seems alot more sluggish

30s and stock gearing is not the best combination...
Stick some 4.16 gears in the transfer case and you'll be amazed at the difference...

Good set of extractors, a decent after pipe (2"0 and a vitara carby.
If you do not worry for extreme angles, a weber, oh so very good, cheap as chips, and a fantastic power gain.

Offroad will be a million times better with appropriate gearing for the tyres your running...
I run 4.16 gears with 29s and its fantastic.
Get the gears from lowrangeoffroad.com and fit them yourself. Easy!

I bought mine when the exchange rate was a lot worse than it is now, and they were still worth every cent and more!

I dunno if on 30s it'd be worth it...
I know on 29s for the terrain I drive 4.16 is plenty low enough...
6.5s would be a pain on road I reckon.

Highest octain you can get at the pump & leave the bugger in 4th on the h/way, just cause your on the h/way doesn't mean you have to be in 5th..
Fix you exhaust leak with extractor's, give it new oil & filter, change spark plug's.
