Post subject:  Diff breathers

Ok i have sceen on pirate a while ago..

in replace a breather the whole way up to engen bay.

kind of like a flexable little cilinder that can expand and contract on the diff. alowing air movment etc.

i cant find any pics now though. does any one know what i am talking about?

awesome till a it catches on a stick and you dont notice till your diff is stuffed. would probably be cheaper to but some hose and clamps and do it properly

And the same with the hose, you could lose the clamp and have the hose just sitting there dangling like nuts in the breeze and ya diff fills up cause ya don't notice it. :wink:

yes, but the hose coming off would only make it as bad as having nothing there. those expanding/contracting things will actually catch mud and water and act like a funnel, straight into your diff...
