Hey,
Looking at putting a powersteering setup into my WT. Looking at either a bolt in jimny setup (~$800 from wreckers) or a vitara (dunno price but no what adapter kit is). Id say they would both work out roughly the same. Is the vitara a bigger box/pump setup? or will the jimny setup be ok for 31-32" tyres?

I recently put vit P/S into my coily...cost about $400 with new hoses etc. I hvae been told by a few people to put a cooler into the return line as they do over heat.

nik runs jimny + 35s and lux diffs..... it is pinky material lock to lock...

now that benT has the kit it will make the VIT a much quicker easier job than it was when i done mine.
Vit setups are available fairly cheap at times,$150 thru to $300 from what ive seen on forums,plus the kit,plus new lines made up if need be.

i think either kit will be as good as the next and do a well enough job.I run vit p/s and love it

Mates runs 34 on jimny PS...like what 31zook said, no probs.

so what size are you blokes running before having problems with vit PS?

a mates old zuk on 33s with a little sports wheel was still easy as.mine on 31s is fine,but not awesome these days with the locrite.

Im planing on putting in the vit PS with 33s and lux diffs, i think this set up will work well

cressida is the go. slyvan has it on his lwb with a falcon pump(Ithink) on 33's and it is light as a feather.
mine has vit ps on 34's and stuggles at times

Looks like jimny is the go, ill only be 31x10.5 or 32x11.5.
