Hi all

Was looking at lowrange website gathering a list of stuff to buy because I dont think you will get a better time to buy now while the Aussie Dollar is strong, and came across High Steer kit for Hilux Diff conversion on a sierra $399.

My question is does anyone have this kit? Is it any good in terms of ease of instalation? Or does someone have a better or cheaper option of doing this?

http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/suzuki/s ... r-kit.html

Have seen a few guys on here doing this but never paided much attention

thanks ahead

Its a good kit, but shipping on this item is quite expensive (+$200)

so factor that into your budget.

the hi steer wont work. Lhd and rhd hi steer arms have a different tapper - they do bolt on in rhd configuation but the draglink and tire rod will be the wrong length because of the difference in tapper. and your wheels will rub on the arms unless you have a fair amount of offset.

Yea I will ask if they do a righthand setup. I think it would be the saest bet, I have seen a few homemade setups on here and think its best to do it right the first time.

im using the low range kit, it does come in RHD. Get some weld in bungs and the fj80 tie rod ends, and make your own tie rod and drag link.

Im using that exact one mate.. bloody tough bit of gear!! Just have to tell him its for a RHD vehicle!! To save with the shipping though, he didnt send the steel piping. I sourced that locally - which ended up saving me heaps :) Just needed someone to weld the tie rods in...
